Lead an Unforgettable Summer at The Art Farm NYC
The Art Farm NYC is seeking an experienced, high-energy Camp Director to lead our dynamic summer camp program for children ages 3–9. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about youth development, and can confidently manage both people and operations.

What You’ll Do
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise, coach, and support teachers, assistants, and specialty staff
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture
- Lead by example with strong communication and accountability
Health & Safety Oversight
- Serve as Health Director (First Aid, incident tracking, supply management)
- Ensure compliance with NYS Summer Day Camp and safety regulations
- Lead emergency response procedures, drills, and documentation
Daily Operations
- Oversee daily schedules, staffing, and program logistics
- Coordinate with site operations and security teams
- Manage supplies and support overall camp organization
Parent & Community Engagement
- Act as a primary point of contact for families
- Deliver a high-quality, responsive camper experience
- Support communication efforts, including updates and photo-sharing tools
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-camp training and ongoing meetings
- Assist with lunch coverage on a rotating basis
- Take on additional duties as needed to support camp success

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Education or related field preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior camp experience required
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
- Full availability for the entire camp season (June 22 – August 14, 2026)
