๐ Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (June 23, 2025 – August 15, 2025)

As Camp Director, you will lead our Camp Team and ensure the successful, safe, and joyful operation of our summer program for children ages 3–9. You’ll serve as both a hands-on leader and behind-the-scenes organizer, managing staff, overseeing health protocols, and ensuring a smooth daily experience. This is the perfect opportunity for a passionate educator or camp enthusiast ready to take on a high-impact leadership role.
๐น Leadership & Management
Supervise and support lead teachers, assistant teachers, specialists, and program staff
Promote high morale, professionalism, and motivation among staff
Model responsible behavior and positive attitudes
๐น Health & Safety Oversight
Serve as the Health Director: provide First Aid, maintain logs, and manage supplies
Ensure compliance with CDC and NYS Summer Day Camp Guidelines
Facilitate fire drills and safety protocols
Respond effectively to emergencies and document incidents properly
๐น Daily Operations
Liaise with site security and operations teams
Manage daily camp activities, staff schedules, and program logistics
Support supply ordering and camp resource planning
๐น Communication & Customer Service
Educate and engage with parents and visitors about the camp
Ensure excellent camper and family experience through responsive service
Collaborate on camp communications and photo-sharing app updates
๐น Team Collaboration & Other Duties
Participate in pre-camp training and ongoing staff meetings
Assist with lunch prep on a scheduled rotation
Support The Art Farm’s mission and positive public image
Accept other responsibilities as assigned by the Camp Supervisor

โ Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required (Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or Nursing preferred)
CPR/First Aid certification or nursing license (training provided if needed)
Must be available for full camp duration: June 23 – August 15, 2025
Previous camp experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory role required
